FAQ

What is CBD?

CBD, scientifically known as cannabidiol, is one of the many non-psychoactive (or non-intoxicating) components of the cannabis plant. It offers an array of health benefits, including pain relief, anxiety relief, sleep aid, and inflammation reduction, amongst many others. With that said, it’s important to note that CBD is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

What is distillate?

Distillate is a golden liquid created by refining cannabis resin. Distillation allows the processor to isolate a desired compound from the cannabis plant and leave behind undesirable plant material. They’re commonly used in vape cartridges and can also be used in edibles, topicals, and other products.

How do you make distillate?

First, the cannabis crude oil is heated in a boiling flask at varying temperatures. Then the vapor passes through the condensing head (turning the vapor back into a liquid) and a liquid residue is collected in the collection flask, thereby isolating the THC and CBD components.

What does "full spectrum" mean?

Full-spectrum extracts, often called whole plant extracts, maintain the full profile of the cannabis plant. They contain a variety of cannabinoids, including THC, THCa, CBD, CBDa, CBG, and CBN, as well as terpenes and other compounds such as flavonoids, proteins, phenols, sterols, and esters.

What is isolate?

CBD isolate is the purest form of cannabidiol one can buy, containing no tetrahydrocannabinol, other cannabinoids, or plant matter. Extracted from the hemp plant, it’s often the most logical choice for individuals who are sensitive to or need to avoid THC. Isolate is a versatile and easy-to-dose product for different consumption methods.
